RESEARCH AND POLICY DESIGN: NICARAGUA HOUSING PROGRAM DESIGN AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AGENDA

This study has been developed with the IPC firm ( Frankfurt, Germany). The study is funded by IDB within the project and assistance preparation credit program, for the Nicaraguan government.The consultancy is to develop an income housing and national urban development program. The study is part of a Nicaraguan national program (loan of 45 million dollars,1999). The results from the studies define changes in the institutional policies, and introduction of a new     financial  role for the Nicaraguan banking system.
