SUPPORT TO THE PROGRAM OF URBAN RENOVATION OF GUAYAQUIL: DESIGN OF SPECIFIC ALTERNATIVES OF CONTROL OF DEVELOPMENT OF MARGINAL ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE SHORES OF THE SALTY MATTING IN GUAYAQUIL.

The general mission  of  the consultancy is to propose a specific alternative to control   the development of the informal  establishments in the zone.  By  means of:

1. Alignments for the formulation of a masterful plan in the area of the matting and its zone of influence.

2. A proposal of definition, in a environmental zone of environmental  transport  and  of limit between the existing matting and establishments.

3. Pilot plan.

In contract it includes a participating methodology of work, the  one  that  consists  of  the following phases:

a) Contacts with the municipal authorities.

b) Socialization  with   the establishments of the zones of edge.

c) Participating diagnosis and   evaluation  of   needs by means of, if necessary, the accomplishment of communitarian   assemblies oriented bythe team urban and social of the Municipality, with the purpose   of  to diagnose and to evaluate the needs and to prioritize  problems.

d)  Participating   planning    for   the formulation of the alternatives.

e) Formulation in  agreements for the adoption of  the strategy and the elaboration of the study of pre-feasibility of the pilot,  as   a   result   of  a validation factory.
